Who is Melissa Hudson?
Hi there, I’m Melissa! I am a licensed real estate agent living and working in King County! I also have helped clients as south as Tacoma and as north as Redmond… and everywhere in between! I am a real estate broker for the top selling Rosie Rouke Real Estate Team based out of Fairwood near Kent and Renton. My passion is helping clients, thinking outside the box, and using my background in marketing/entrepreneurship to negotiate deals and protect my client’s investment! I am a mom of 3 amazing kids, wife to my amazing husband, and I love Disney, cooking, gardening, Starbucks and wine tasting!

I was born and raised in the Fairwood – Renton area, and a graduate from Lindbergh High School. I am also a 2 time Fairwood homeowner (bought first home in 2005, second home in 2016) with my husband Josh and my 3 kids, Natalie, Rees and Wyatt. Being from around her (Renton, Kent, Maple Valley, etc) I understand the unique area we live in and the complexities and uniqueness of each neighborhood. I have lived and worked in South King County for most of her life. Community ties also run deep in my family. My mom has been a local business owner for 30 years and my husband family has had a local business for 36 years! I am involved in the local schools, various charity organizations, the Fairwood Country Club and several local chambers. And of course... a lifelong Seahawks Fan!!!
How did I get into real estate?
Great question! Before I became a licensed agent I was actually a marketing director for a large service company in the area. In 2009 my husband and I decided to start our own marketing agency and H5 Creative was born! Over the years I was able to tackle and learn many different industries, real estate being one of the areas I fell in love with! And being a home owner myself and a lover of interior design, someday all my passions were going to end coming together. In 2015 we decided to sell our home so we could upsize to a larger one. We called the best realtor in our area… Rosie Rourke! Her and her team were amazing! After selling our home and buying our current one on our dream neighborhood, Rosie hired our company to help her with some marketing. 2 weeks later I was offered a full time position on her team… I guess I made an impression! I took a leap and it was the best decision I have ever made… except for marrying Josh, of course!
